It's an enthusiast product, not a value buy. The one I got has very little backlight bleed only at bottom right corner, the rest of it is pristine. The screen overclocks perfectly to 120Hz as advertised, unlike some of the Asus and Acer products. Color is limited to 8-bit, but it looks really nice after a proper calibration. I decided not to wait for the HDR displays as I expect them to cost more than what it's worth. This is the best of the pre-HDR-gsync 34 inch ultrawides. My only gripe is that a week after I bought it, Dell had it $100 cheaper with student discount. 🙁
I really could be happier. Came from a 16:9 1080p 60hz monitor and the difference is night and day. I really didn't appreciate how big of a difference it would be. I have had zero problems with this monitor, build quality is obvious and the monitor is gorgeous both in the image it provides as well as the ascetics of the monitor its self. I would hands down recommend this monitor definitly best of 2018.
Been waiting to upgrade from my 27” Fhd monitor got this one at a steal of a price and picture is amazing if my desk was big enough I’d run 2 of them hands down
