Rxment LED strip
Items arrived on time and appeared to be in good condition. Packaging was great with anti-static bags and everything included as stated. Unspooled the first roll and tested it with the included remote, and all appeared to be good except the white (the most desired color) was more blue than I had hoped, as I want to use these LED strips to illuminate art glass and wanted accurate color rendition. Mounted about 10 feet of the first roll to illuminate a shelf, using the adhesive backing on the lights, then cut off the unneeded length at the marked cut-off point. After turning on the mounted strip, I found that the last 1.5 feet or so were no longer the same color as the rest. When selecting white, the end LEDs were a light green. Other colors are similarly jumbled.I bought three sets of these strips, but will delay the installation of the other two until I find out if this can be resolved. I'm hoping the seller reaches out to me with a solution. If not I will return them and hope for better luck with another product. At this point, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product to anyone who might be looking for lights of this type.
Purchased as a replacement to an existing system that was falling off the underside of the kitchen cabinets. This group of components is great. The PS is 5 amps, what is needed, and better than many. The controller is RF, better than IR. The remote has many options but is still not great (but I have not looked into the 6 DIY buttons). The lights worked fine. I would prefer a foam double stick tape that appears to hold better and an IP65 for rigidity. But since I was installing into a channel I am hopeful the light strip will stay up.
I bought these after having been let down by a similar product at IKEA. Needless to say, these are much brighter than I had expected and were easy to install on my glass display case. Definitely going to order more for future projects.
Cool idea but the lights have failed after 4 hours. Ran them this morning for a few hours then turned them off. Turned them back on this evening and now they don't respond to the controller, they just cycle through some colors while fading in and out. Controller LED indicates it is working, I unplugged the power supply for 30 minutes, plugged them back in and still the same results.
So the lights get the job done I suppose. Flaws are that the white color isn't so white and there's no protective sealing to the lights. Its just a naked light strip! Not exactly what I thought it was. But plus side there's lots of colors to choose from.
