I bought one and am going back for two more. I am totally impressed with this little camera and the app and both of their functionality. The set up was simple and the app is somewhat intuitive. The picture that is streamed to your phone is exceptional and it works over WiFi and cell service when you are away from home. The camera accepts up to a 64G SD card which will last approximately 10 days of recording 24 hrs. a day, or you can subscribe for Cloud service for $5 a month (per camera?)
Pretty great night vision and day vision camera. Set up was easy. Make sure when you are setting up with your wifi, you're choosing the normal 2.4~ wifi and not 5g. It does not work with 5g. Other than that works good. Posted a pic of what it looks like at night.
I have not seen a review prior to purchasing this. But for the price I was willing to try it out. The image quality is 960p I believe. According to a video on YouTube. They sell higher end cameras which are 1080p this camera does everything I need it to do. Plenty of awesome features. Their cloud plan is very reasonable but I prefer micro 64G SD card. I will be purchasing more of these to cover all corners of my apartment. Bottom line... this is a badass security cam. Very low key too.
Seems to be well made and somewhat easy to use. But the speaker and microphone features just seam to crash the app. It goes to night mode for no reason with lights on in day time. Worse of all the SD card sometimes worked then app started saying it wasn’t inserted and no matter of restarting or reinserting of the card has fixed it so that leaves me stuck paying for cloud storage or just returning it. Have contacted companies customer service as well as asked questions on amazon listing but no reply. So I guess back it goes.
I have several problems with this camera:1) After updating firmware to the version 1.5.3. audio stopped working. When I activate microphone on the app, nothing come out from camera's speakers2) it doesn't record on SD card. I inserted 64GB card, formatted it successfully (so, I'm sure it was inserted correctly and accessible), set recording to "everyday from 0:00 am to 23:59 pm - default), but nothing recorded3) Camera make announcement in Chinese, and some menu items in the app are also in Chinese. There is no language setting that could be changed.Unless seller tells me how to fix these issues, I'm going to return this camera to AmazonUPDATE: just got a replacement camera from seller. Didn't have a chance to test it yet. I'll update my review as soon as I try new camera.Sincerely,Alex
